This room benefited from having an existing green Aga and high ceilings, both of which needed to be accentuated.

A fully integrated dishwasher and built-in oven-microwave needed to be incorporated as well as a plate rack, bookshelf, a bin, easy to access pots and pans and importantly “somewhere to put my baskets”!

A style of door was decided upon, traditionally built with decorative moulding around the panel. But to get the finer details of the door correct, timber dimensions and moulding profiles etc, several samples were produced for the customer to choose from,

For the paint colour choice, an old cabinet door was supplied which was sent away to be scanned and specialist paint was produces the match the exact colour. With regards to the slate worktop, extensive travelling and research was done by the client to find the exact colour to suite their taste. The green and the Oak blend effortlessly to give a timeless, homely lived in feel to a modern practical working kitchen.
